Dear Awesome First Grade Families,

We have made it!  It is the last week before Christmas break and this week is filled with all kinds of good fun.  Here are things to think about:

1) Wednesday is Grinch-mas! We will be rotating classes to visit different teachers who will provide a fun Grinch activity.  We will watch the movie and have fun treats.  Feel free to dress your little ones in PJs and to send them with a favorite stuffie.  

2)  We are having our class Christmas party on Thursday, December 19th.  I am re-attaching the sign up sheet for those who have not yet gotten a chance to put their name down.  If you plan to have items delivered please make sure it arrives by 11:45 so that we can begin by noon.

3) The 19th is also the date for our Christmas Concert.  It will start promptly at 5 fingers crossed but that means we need all children at school ready to go by 4:30. They should wear an amazing outfit, Sunday best or anything that makes your little one sparkle. All parents have been asked to bring in hot chocolate packets and cookies for a delicious treat after the Concert.

4) Friday is our last day before Christmas break.  There will be no after school care offered on this date.

Have a wonderful weekend!  Take time to breathe, in all the Christmas rush don't forget the true importance of the holiday which is about love, joy, hope and peace.
